Food for Families / Food for Seniors, part of Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans, serves the Winnsboro, LA community by providing essential food assistance to eligible seniors. Each month, our dedicated program delivers nutritious food boxes packed with canned meats, vegetables, fruits, and breakfast staples, alongside informative resources that empower seniors to make healthy dietary choices. Our mission is to elevate the well-being of seniors by not only supplying emergency food but also offering education on meal preparation, budgeting, and nutrition. Enrollment in our program is straightforward; interested individuals can access the Preliminary Certification application form to take the first step towards receiving vital food assistance.
