Located in Youngsville, LA, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to annually screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, offering tailored referrals to various weight management options that suit their individual needs and preferences. Services include interactive group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home support. For those who prefer using technology, our MOVE! Coach mobile app allows for independent weight management. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight-related issues.
