Over the course of 12 months, participants will aim to lose 7% of their body weight and increase their physical activity to 150 minutes per week, significantly reducing their risk for diabetes. The program has been proven to decrease new cases of type 2 diabetes by 58% overall, and up to 71% for those over 60.
