Healthy Eating for Successful Living in Older Adults is dedicated to empowering seniors in Salem, MA with the knowledge and tools to enhance their nutrition and support healthier aging. Our program offers comprehensive nutrition education, focusing on goal setting, problem solving, and group support to foster a community of like-minded individuals. Participants will learn to assess and manage their dietary patterns through six engaging sessions, each 2 ½ hours long, led by trained peer leaders alongside a nutritionist or registered dietitian. To reinforce their learning, participants are invited to a Healthy Eating™ restaurant outing one month after completing the sessions, allowing them to explore practical dining experiences.
