Time to Fly is a compassionate faith-based organization located in Brooklyn, MD, dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic violence. Our comprehensive program is designed to help women and children reclaim their self-worth and identity through a free, structured three-step approach. We provide vital services including counseling, parenting education, nutrition education, essential life skills training, financial literacy, and computer classes. Our workshops delve into critical topics such as the roots and impacts of domestic violence, equipping participants with the knowledge needed to navigate their healing journey and embrace God's plan for their lives. We also offer an After Care Program focusing on spiritual and emotional support, along with practical guidance in financial management and access to resources for housing, childcare, and employment. Serving individuals from Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland, we hold quarterly sessions that accommodate up to 50 women and 15 children, always ensuring childcare is available to foster a supportive learning environment.
