Time to Fly is a nurturing, faith-based organization located in Burtonsville, MD, dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic violence. Our free, comprehensive 3 Step program is designed specifically for women and children in Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland, offering essential resources such as counseling, parenting and nutrition education, financial management, and computer skills training. Through workshops, participants explore critical topics like the roots and effects of domestic violence, the importance of speaking out, and discovering God’s purpose for their lives. Our support network fosters spiritual growth and personal development, ensuring clients feel valued and heard. Additionally, our After Care Program addresses lingering spiritual and emotional needs while connecting survivors to crucial life skills and referral services for housing, childcare, and employment assistance. With childcare provided, we facilitate training sessions quarterly, accommodating up to 50 women and 15 children at a time. At Time to Fly, we believe in the transformative power of community and faith, guiding each individual towards healing and a renewed sense of identity.
