MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Burtonsville, MD, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through tailored weight management and health promotion services. We aim to screen all Veterans receiving care at VA facilities for obesity annually and connect them with appropriate weight management resources. Our comprehensive offerings include group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, the innovative TeleMOVE! for in-home support, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer a self-directed approach. For Veterans who continue to face challenges with weight management, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery options. Each service is designed with the unique needs of our Veterans in mind, ensuring that they have the support and resources required on their journey to better health.
