MOVE! Weight Management Program in Chevy Chase, MD, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity annually and connect them to tailored weight management services that meet their individual needs. With a variety of options including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, TeleMOVE! for in-home support, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those preferring self-management, we strive to empower Veterans on their weight loss journey. For Veterans facing ongoing challenges, we also offer access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery solutions. To get started, interested individuals are encouraged to speak with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider who can guide them through the enrollment process.
