At Simple Cooking with Heart/SNAP-Ed in Clarksburg, MD, we are dedicated to empowering SNAP-eligible residents with essential culinary and nutrition education. Our engaging program offers a series of four-week classes designed to teach vital cooking skills and enhance nutritional knowledge, ensuring participants can prepare healthy meals for themselves and their families. Each household involved in the program also receives two complimentary bags of fresh produce delivered right to their door, making healthy eating accessible and convenient. Currently, our classes are held virtually, allowing us to reach more individuals in the community and inspire a love for cooking and well-being.
