Time to Fly is a compassionate, faith-based organization located in Cumberland, MD, dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic violence through our comprehensive three-step program. We provide vital services such as counseling, parenting education, nutrition education, and practical life skills, alongside essential financial education and computer training. Our supportive workshops focus on exploring the roots and effects of domestic violence, understanding why many women remain silent, and discovering God’s purpose for their lives. Participants receive not only knowledge but also access to a robust support network and resources designed to facilitate healing and growth. Additionally, our After Care Program extends beyond initial training to address spiritual, emotional, and practical needs with workshops on financial management, nutrition, and parenting. Every quarter, we serve up to 50 women and 15 children, ensuring that care and childcare are consistently provided as we guide clients from Northern VA, DC, and MD toward a renewed sense of identity and self-worth.
