Time to Fly is a compassionate, faith-based organization located in Damascus, MD, dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic violence by helping them reclaim their self-worth and identity. Our free three-step program is designed for women and children in the Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland areas, offering essential services such as counseling, parenting and nutrition education, daily life skills, financial literacy, and computer training. Through our workshops, participants explore critical topics including the roots and effects of domestic violence, the importance of speaking out, and how to discover God's purpose in their lives, all while engaging with a supportive community. Our After Care Program further provides spiritual, emotional, and practical support, featuring life-skills workshops and access to resources for housing, childcare, and employment assistance. With childcare provided and sessions held quarterly for up to 50 women and 15 children, Time to Fly ensures that those seeking a transformative change receive the guidance and support they need to soar to new heights.
