Simple Cooking with Heart, part of the YMCA initiative in Damascus, MD, empowers SNAP-eligible residents through invaluable culinary and nutrition education. Our program not only teaches essential cooking skills but also emphasizes healthy eating habits, ensuring that participants can make informed food choices for their families. Each four-week class offers interactive lessons and provides participants with two complimentary bags of home-delivered produce, enhancing their access to fresh ingredients.
