The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant, located in District Heights, MD, is dedicated to supporting individuals who are experiencing financial hardship due to chronic, terminal, or rare conditions such as cancer, Parkinson’s disease, or Huntington's disease. Our mission is to alleviate some of the burdens faced by those in need by providing essential utility assistance and grocery assistance tailored to help during challenging times. While the grant covers either utilities or groceries, we also collaborate with local organizations to explore additional support options for our clients, ensuring that they receive comprehensive care during their time of need.
