Time to Fly is a dedicated faith-based organization located in Edgewater, MD, committed to empowering survivors of domestic violence through a comprehensive and compassionate approach. Our free 3 Step program supports women and children across Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland, focusing on essential areas such as counseling, parenting education, nutrition education, financial literacy, and daily life skills. Each workshop addresses critical topics, including the roots and devastating effects of domestic violence, providing tools for healing and growth, and guiding participants in discovering their identity and purpose through spirituality. Our After Care Program further extends support by offering life-skills workshops and access to vital resources for housing, childcare, and employment assistance. We ensure that every participant finds a nurturing environment, with childcare provided and sessions scheduled quarterly to accommodate up to 50 women and 15 children per class. At Time to Fly, we believe in equipping individuals with the skills and support they need to reclaim their lives and seek the future they deserve.
