MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Edgewater, MD, is dedicated to empowering Veterans to achieve their health goals through effective weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to address obesity among Veterans by providing a comprehensive approach that includes personalized screening, referrals to weight management services, and a variety of treatment options tailored to individual needs. We offer support through engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! which features in-home messaging and clinician assistance when needed. For those who prefer self-guided approaches, the MOVE! Coach mobile app helps track progress and manage weight effectively. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges despite utilizing MOVE! services.
