Time to Fly, located in Edgewood, MD, provides compassionate and comprehensive faith-based counseling and training specifically designed for survivors of domestic violence. Our free 3 Step program serves women and children in the Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland areas, empowering them to reclaim their self-worth and identity. Through our services, participants engage in counseling, parenting and nutrition education, daily life skills training, financial education, and computer classes, all within a supportive network. Our workshops address critical issues such as the roots of domestic violence, the devastating effects of abuse, and guidance on navigating personal and spiritual recovery paths. In addition, our After Care Program offers continued support with life-skills workshops focused on financial management, nutrition, and parenting, alongside access to essential resources like housing and childcare. With childcare provided, we bring together up to 50 women and 15 children per session every quarter, ensuring a nurturing environment for healing and growth.
