MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Edgewood, MD, is a dedicated initiative aimed at enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management strategies. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with tailored weight management services that align with their individual needs. We offer a variety of options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home support. For those who prefer self-directed care, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight-related issues.
