The Family Shelter Program in Elkridge, MD, is dedicated to providing a safe haven for families facing shelter crises, offering 33 beds in our emergency shelter. We prioritize individualized support by assigning each resident a case manager who collaborates on a tailored plan to navigate their unique challenges. Families can stay with us for an initial period of up to three months, with the option to request an extension of another three months under specific circumstances. Our compassionate staff offer comprehensive services, including supportive counseling, job search assistance, budget management, and parenting skills workshops. We also facilitate referrals for mental health and social services, as well as addiction treatment, ensuring families receive holistic care. To support mobility and stability, we provide transportation and limited financial assistance as needed, all while fostering an environment of understanding and hope.
