At the Grassroots Day Resource Center in Elkridge, MD, we are dedicated to providing essential support and services to the homeless population of Howard County. Our welcoming facility offers a range of practical resources, including showers, hot meals, laundry services, and a food pantry to ensure no one goes hungry. We also operate a medical clinic and assist individuals in signing up for critical services like health insurance, birth certificates, MVA IDs, and SSA cards. With a Humanim representative on-site weekly, we help guests navigate SNAP benefits, while our Health Department liaison offers valuable addiction counseling. Additionally, we provide case management, a job board to aid employment searches, and an address for mail delivery, allowing our guests to stay connected. We even offer a Pre-GED class to support educational advancement. We are committed to caring for our community and helping individuals regain their footing while ensuring they receive the support they need.
