The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) in Elkton, MD, is dedicated to empowering food insecure and limited-resource youth and families with essential nutrition education. Our mission is to equip participants with practical skills and knowledge to prepare nutritious meals on a limited budget, promote healthier food choices, enhance food security, and improve overall health outcomes. Through a series of engaging workshops, participants receive 10-12 lessons, delivered in both English and Spanish, tailored to meet cultural needs.
