Located in Ellicott City, MD, Cancer Self-Management: Thriving and Surviving offers a free, six-week program designed to empower individuals affected by cancer. This supportive initiative, available both in-person and via Zoom, focuses on sharing experiences and developing practical solutions to help participants navigate the challenges of cancer. Caregivers are warmly invited to join as we tackle essential topics such as maintaining balanced nutrition, reducing fatigue and pain, enhancing sleep quality, coping with uncertainty, and making informed decisions about treatment and complementary therapies. Our program fosters open communication, enabling participants to strengthen connections with family, friends, and health professionals while regaining physical flexibility and endurance on their journey to wellness.
