Time to Fly Foundation (TTF)
Based in Fort Washington, MD, Time to Fly is a compassionate faith-based organization dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic violence through a transformative, comprehensive 3 Step program. Free of charge to women and children in the Northern VA, DC, and MD areas, our program focuses on rebuilding self-worth and identity while providing essential support services. Participants engage in counseling, parenting education, nutrition education, daily life skills training, financial education, and computer classes, all within a nurturing support network. Our workshops cover critical topics such as the roots of domestic violence, the effects of abuse, and the pathway to discovering God's purpose for one’s life. Additionally, our After Care Program continues to address spiritual, emotional, and practical needs through life-skills workshops and access to vital resources including housing, childcare, and employment assistance. Childcare is available, and our sessions serve up to 50 women and 15 children, scheduled quarterly to maximize accessibility and impact.
