MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Greenbelt, MD, is dedicated to transforming the health of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity and connects to tailored weight management solutions that respect their unique needs and preferences. We offer a variety of options, including supportive group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program that delivers in-home support through messaging and clinical contact. Veterans who prefer a more independent approach can utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for personal weight management. For those who have tried MOVE! and need additional assistance, we provide access to weight-loss medications and bariatric surgery.
