Time to Fly is a dedicated, faith-based organization in Gwynn Oak, MD, focused on empowering survivors of domestic violence to reclaim their self-worth and identity. Our comprehensive, free 3-Step program serves women and children across Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland, providing essential services such as counseling, parenting education, nutrition coaching, life skills training, financial education, and computer classes. Participants also benefit from a robust support network and spiritual guidance, all designed to help them navigate their paths to healing and independence. During our workshops, clients explore the roots and impacts of domestic violence, understand the challenges survivors face, and discover God's unique plan for their lives, while gaining important tools for building healthy relationships. Our After Care Program continues to support these individuals by addressing their spiritual, emotional, and practical needs, offering workshops on financial management and nutrition, as well as access to vital referral networks for housing, childcare, and employment assistance. We warmly welcome up to 50 women and 15 children per quarterly session, ensuring childcare is available so that all can access the healing they deserve.
