Cancer Self-Management: Thriving and Surviving is a compassionate 6-week program offered at no cost, designed to support individuals navigating the challenges of cancer in Hanover, MD. Through engaging in-person and virtual sessions, participants share experiences and discover practical tools to address various issues while fostering a supportive community. Caregivers are encouraged to join as we focus on vital aspects such as maintaining balanced nutrition, alleviating fatigue and frustration, improving sleep quality, coping with uncertainty, and enhancing physical flexibility and endurance. Our program also guides participants in understanding treatment options and communicating effectively with family, friends, and healthcare professionals, ensuring that no one has to face their journey alone.
