Emergency Meal Units, part of the Good News Community Kitchen in Huntingtown, MD, is dedicated to alleviating food insecurity for families in urgent need of food assistance. Our program provides essential dry goods to address immediate nutritional shortages with each emergency meal unit containing a 1-pound bag of rice, two cans of beans, and a pound of whole grain old-fashioned oats. We believe that every family deserves access to food that meets their basic nutritional needs. If you or someone you know is facing food scarcity, please complete our online request form to receive a meal kit delivered bi-weekly. To ensure a smooth process, a copy of a valid state-issued identification card must be emailed to us. Together, we can make a difference in combating hunger in our community.
