Groceries-to-Go (GTG) is a dedicated food assistance program located in Kensington, MD, specifically designed to support individuals facing life-challenging illnesses by providing free, medically tailored meal delivery services. Our clients receive groceries biweekly at no cost, with absolutely no income or insurance requirements. We understand that specific dietary needs are essential, which is why we offer eight specialized meal plans: regular, vegetarian, renal, no dairy, no fish, diabetic, heart-healthy, and shelf-stable. For added flexibility, Food & Friends can even combine up to three different meal plans to better accommodate the unique requirements of each recipient, ensuring that everyone receives the nourishment they need in a supportive and understanding environment.
