Located in Kensington, MD, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to transforming the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity and offered personalized weight management solutions tailored to their unique needs. We provide a range of resources, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! service, which allows for convenient in-home support and clinician interaction. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available to aid in managing weight independently. Additionally, our program offers access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who may benefit from advanced interventions.
