At Simple Cooking with Heart/SNAP-Ed in Kensington, MD, we are dedicated to empowering SNAP-eligible residents of Washington, DC with essential culinary and nutrition education. Our program offers a supportive and informative experience over four-week classes, where participants learn practical cooking skills and nutritional knowledge to enhance their wellbeing. Completing the program not only equips households with the tools to eat healthier but also provides two complimentary bags of fresh, home-delivered produce, enriching their culinary journey. Currently, classes are conducted virtually, making it accessible for everyone to participate and benefit from our mission of promoting healthy eating within the community.
