Emergency Meal Units, operated by Good News Community Kitchen in Lanham, MD, is dedicated to providing immediate food assistance to families facing food insecurity. Our program focuses on delivering essential dry goods to those in urgent need, ensuring access to nutritious meals. Each emergency meal unit includes a 1-pound bag of rice, two cans of beans, and a pound of whole grain oats, designed to meet critical dietary requirements. If you or your family are struggling with food scarcity, we invite you to fill out our online request form. Registered families will receive meal kits bi-weekly to help alleviate hunger in our community.
