Time to Fly is a compassionate, faith-based organization located in Lexington Park, MD, dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic violence. Our mission centers on helping women and children reclaim their self-worth and identity through our comprehensive, free three-step program available to those in the Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland areas. Participants benefit from a structured curriculum that includes counseling, parenting and nutrition education, daily life skills workshops, financial literacy training, computer classes, and a robust support network. Through our workshops, individuals explore critical issues such as the roots of domestic violence, the impact of abuse, and how to uncover God's plan for their lives. We also provide an After Care Program that addresses spiritual and emotional needs, offering additional life skills training and access to resources for housing, childcare, and employment assistance. With childcare support available, we proudly serve up to 50 women and 15 children per quarterly session, creating a nurturing environment for those seeking meaningful change and healing.
