Time to Fly, located in Lusby, MD, is a dedicated faith-based organization providing comprehensive counseling and training for survivors of domestic violence. Our mission is to empower women and children in Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland to reclaim their self-worth and identity through our free 3 Step program. This impactful initiative includes vital services such as counseling, parenting education, nutrition education, daily life skills, financial literacy, computer classes, and a supportive network to help navigate the challenges they face. Participants engage in workshops that address the roots and effects of domestic violence, and learn to embrace God's plan for their lives while finding proven steps to heal relationships. Additionally, our After Care Program offers ongoing support for spiritual, emotional, and practical needs with life-skills workshops and referrals for housing, childcare, and employment assistance, all while ensuring childcare is available for participants. Each quarter, we serve up to 50 women and 15 children, fostering a nurturing environment for healing and growth.
