Time to Fly is a compassionate, faith-based organization located in Mechanicsville, MD, dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic violence to rediscover their self-worth and identity. We offer a comprehensive, free 3 Step program tailored for women and children across Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland, focusing on essential areas such as counseling, parenting education, nutrition, daily life skills, financial management, computer training, and spiritual support. Our workshops cover critical topics like the roots and effects of domestic violence, helping participants understand the challenges they face while discovering God’s plan for their lives. Additionally, our After Care Program provides ongoing support through life-skills workshops and access to vital resources for housing, childcare, and employment assistance, ensuring that each individual receives the holistic care they deserve. With childcare provided, we host quarterly sessions aimed at serving up to 50 women and 15 children, fostering a supportive community where healing and personal growth are the central focus.
