Time to Fly is a compassionate, faith-based organization located in Millersville, MD, dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic violence. Our comprehensive, free 3-step program serves women and children across Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland, focusing on helping them rebuild their self-worth and identity. Through a combination of counseling, parenting education, nutrition education, daily life skills training, financial literacy, and computer classes, we create a supportive environment for healing and growth. Our workshops cover critical topics such as understanding the roots of domestic violence, the effects of abuse, and how to navigate the journey towards discovering one's purpose. With our After Care Program, we continue to support our clients by addressing their spiritual, emotional, and practical needs, offering life-skills workshops and connecting them with vital resources for housing, childcare, and employment assistance. Childcare services are available, and we welcome up to 50 women and 15 children per quarterly session, fostering resilience and hope for a brighter future.
