MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Mount Airy, MD, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran who receives care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with tailored weight management solutions that align with their individual needs. We offer a variety of options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program that provides in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, while additional resources like weight loss medications and bariatric surgery are offered for Veterans facing persistent weight-related challenges.
