The MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in North East, MD, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Each year, we prioritize the screening of Veterans at VA facilities for obesity, ensuring they receive the support and referrals necessary for their weight loss journey. Our program offers a range of tailored treatment options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and clinician contact based on individual needs. For those who prefer a self-guided approach, we offer the MOVE! Coach mobile app. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who may need further assistance after engaging with MOVE!.
