Time to Fly is a dedicated faith-based organization in Owings Mills, MD, focused on empowering survivors of domestic violence through comprehensive counseling and training programs. Our free 3 Step program serves women and children across Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland, addressing crucial needs such as counseling, parenting education, nutrition education, and essential life skills. During our workshops, clients gain insights into the roots of domestic violence, the effects of abuse, and how to begin discovering their identity and God’s plan for their lives, alongside understanding God’s original design for healthy relationships. We also offer a robust After Care Program, focusing on spiritual, emotional, and practical needs with workshops on financial management, nutrition, and childcare, ensuring access to referral networks for housing and employment assistance. With childcare provided, we strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for up to 50 women and 15 children per training session, scheduled quarterly.
