MOVE! Weight Management Program, based in Owings Mills, MD, is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to annually screen all Veterans receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, ensuring they have access to a variety of tailored treatment options that align with their individual needs and preferences. MOVE! offers diverse weight management care pathways, including supportive group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging with clinicians as needed. For those who prefer a more independent approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers Veterans to manage their weight at their own pace. Additionally, for Veterans challenged by ongoing weight-related issues, we facilitate access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
