Time to Fly is a dedicated faith-based organization located in Oxon Hill, MD, committed to empowering survivors of domestic violence through a nurturing and comprehensive approach. Our free 3 Step program serves women and children across the Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland areas, offering vital services such as counseling, parenting education, nutrition guidance, life skills training, financial education, and computer classes, all within a supportive community network. Participants engage in workshops that cover crucial topics like the roots and effects of domestic violence, reclaiming personal worth, discovering God's plan, and healing relationships. Additionally, our After Care Program addresses spiritual and practical needs, providing ongoing support through life-skills workshops and resources for housing, childcare, and employment. With childcare available, we aim to create an inviting and accessible environment for up to 50 women and 15 children each quarter, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to thrive and rebuild their lives after trauma.
