Emergency Services, located in Parkville, MD, is dedicated to providing essential support to families and individuals across 19 zip codes in central Baltimore County, including areas up to the Pennsylvania line. Our mission is to deliver vital food assistance through bagged lunches and prepacked grocery bags, ensuring that those in need have access to nonperishable food supplies for 3-5 days. We also offer care bags specifically for the homeless, fresh produce, and toiletries, along with comprehensive support services including eviction prevention, assistance with utilities and prescriptions, and referrals for clothing and shelter. To help our community effectively, we provide free replacements for IDs, birth certificates, and licenses, as well as mail pickup for those experiencing homelessness. Transportation to job interviews and medical appointments is also available. Although COVID-19 has led us to reduce our service capacity temporarily, we are committed to restoring our full range of support as soon as it is safe to do so.
