At Simple Cooking with Heart/SNAP-Ed in Potomac, MD, we are dedicated to empowering SNAP-eligible residents through our Culinary and Nutrition Education program. Our four-week classes provide practical cooking and nutrition education, ensuring participants gain valuable skills to prepare healthy meals. To support their journey towards better nutrition, each household enrolled in the program receives two complimentary bags of home-delivered produce during the course. Currently, our classes are offered virtually, making it easy for participants to connect and learn from the comfort of their own homes while fostering a community focused on healthy eating and food assistance.
