Grocery Plus in Rockville, MD, is dedicated to empowering seniors aged 60 and over by providing essential food assistance to support their healthy lifestyles. Our program combines the USDA Commodity Supplemental Food Program and the Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program to deliver 30-40 lbs. of nutritious groceries each month to eligible seniors who reside in the District of Columbia and meet the income guidelines. In addition to staple foods, participants can choose fresh produce and other pantry items. During the summer, we enhance our services by offering farmers market vouchers, allowing seniors to access fresh fruits and vegetables from local markets.
