Located in Salisbury, MD, the Patient Financial Assistance Program, offered by the Hemophilia Foundation of Maryland, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for those affected by bleeding disorders. We provide vital financial support to eligible individuals and families struggling with the costs of care and treatment related to these conditions, as well as assistance for basic living expenses during emergencies. This program is designed to alleviate the burden of unpaid medical bills by directly compensating the creditors for eligible expenses, as assistance cannot be provided for costs that have already been settled. To access our financial assistance, applicants must be members of the HFM, with membership automatically granted upon the application submission.
