Based in Severn, MD, the Assistance Network is dedicated to supporting local families in crisis through essential food assistance and emergency services. Formed by the caring ministers of the Severna Park area, our organization addresses the urgent need for help by providing a dignified approach to aid, ensuring that individuals no longer have to go from one church to another. We offer a robust food pantry stocked with non-perishable goods and fresh produce, along with food cards for local grocery stores, to ensure that those in need receive nutritious meals. Additionally, we provide eviction protection support and assist with utility turn-off notices. Our outreach extends through various programs, such as delivering food to the sick and shut-in, as well as participating in community initiatives like the Holiday Sharing Program and the Angel Tree. We are here to uplift our community and ensure that the most vulnerable have access to vital resources.
