Time to Fly, located in Severna Park, MD, is a dedicated faith-based organization focused on empowering survivors of domestic violence to reclaim their self-worth and identity. Our comprehensive program offers free, structured support for women and children in Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland. Through our 3 Step program, participants receive vital services including counseling, parenting education, nutrition education, and daily life skills training. We emphasize financial literacy and provide computer classes, alongside establishing a supportive network and spiritual guidance to help navigate their journey. During our workshops, clients learn about the roots of domestic violence, its profound impacts, and discover pathways to healing and God's purpose for their lives. Additionally, our After Care Program addresses spiritual, emotional, and practical needs through ongoing workshops and access to resources for housing, childcare, and employment assistance, all with childcare provided. Scheduled quarterly, our sessions capably serve up to 50 women and 15 children at a time, creating a nurturing environment for lasting change.
