Groceries-to-Go (GTG) is a dedicated food assistance program located in Silver Spring, MD, designed to support individuals facing life-challenging illnesses by providing free, medically tailored meals. With no income or insurance requirements, GTG ensures that everyone in need receives essential nutrition without barriers. Every other week, we deliver groceries carefully selected to accommodate various dietary needs, offering eight specialized meal plans including regular, vegetarian, renal, no dairy, no fish, diabetic, heart-healthy, and shelf-stable options. Our flexible approach allows us to combine up to three different meal plans to better serve the unique requirements of each client, reinforcing our commitment to nutritious support and compassionate care.
