Located in Suitland, MD, Financial Assistance Funds is dedicated to supporting children with special health care needs and their families by providing vital financial assistance. Our program is designed to alleviate the financial burden associated with medical and non-medical costs, including medical bills, prescriptions, durable medical equipment, and essential home or vehicle modifications. We also assist with daily living expenses, such as food, utilities, and transportation costs related to healthcare visits. Grants of up to $500 per family per year are available, with additional funding subject to Board approval. We carefully review all requests in the order they are received and aim to respond within 15 business days, ensuring that families receive the timely support they need to focus on their well-being.
