The William H. Bennett Food Pantry in Suitland, MD, is dedicated to addressing food insecurity by providing essential food assistance to youth, seniors, ex-offenders, and families in need throughout the Metropolitan area. Our mission is to enhance the nutritional well-being of individuals facing difficult circumstances, including referrals from the Prince George’s County Social Services Department and self-referrals. We offer both ongoing food pantry services and one-time emergency food support to those outside our usual service area, ensuring that no one goes hungry. In addition to food distribution, we also provide valuable information on healthy eating, share nutritious recipes, and offer community workshops. To receive food assistance, individuals and families must pre-register, allowing us to serve them effectively once a month.
