Time to Fly is a nurturing, faith-based organization located in Temple Hills, MD, dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic violence to reclaim their self-worth and identity. We offer a comprehensive, no-cost 3 Step program that supports women and children across Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland. Our program includes essential services such as counseling, parenting education, nutrition education, daily life skills training, financial education, and computer classes, all designed to foster a supportive network and provide spiritual guidance. Participants engage in workshops that address the roots of domestic violence, the impacts of abuse, and how to embark on a healing journey aligned with God’s purpose. Our mission extends beyond initial training with our After Care Program, which offers ongoing spiritual, emotional, and practical support, including life-skills workshops and connections to resources for housing, childcare, and employment assistance. Childcare is provided, ensuring every woman can access the help she needs. Scheduling trainings quarterly allows us to serve up to 50 women and 15 children per session, making meaningful strides towards recovery and independence.
