Simple Cooking with Heart/SNAP-Ed, based in Temple Hills, MD, is dedicated to empowering SNAP-eligible residents of DC through essential culinary and nutrition education. Our program offers engaging four-week classes that focus on practical cooking skills and healthy eating habits, ensuring that participants leave with the knowledge to make nutritious choices. In addition to hands-on learning, every household involved in the program receives two complimentary bags of fresh produce delivered directly to their homes. Currently, our classes are offered virtually, making it easier than ever to access valuable resources that promote wellness and food assistance in our community.
